Immersion | Limitless

To build up the atmosphere of this design, it was important for the cover to reflect the songs that the band created. Since most of the songs in this album was inspired by space itself, it was important to have a celestial theme to the design. For the background, I decided to go with a starry night sky to imitate the mood of what the music artists brought to the table. Songs such as Celestial and Limitless is the perfect example because these words often reflect what space is. The eye in the middle of the album cover is the main subject of this design because it is a great focal point to bring attention to the design. This allows the audience to become immersed into the design and allows the cover to stand out significantly. What brought me to the initial reason to having an eye as a subject was due to finding inspiration from the Helix Nebula which is often nicknamed as The Eye of God because of its similarities. I wanted to play with the idea of us as humans staring at the sky for answers while the universe looks right back at us.
