Michigan Stamp

During the winters in Lake Michigan the surface of the lake usually freezes. When that happens, something magical occurs to the ice. The current of the water pushes all the ice to the shore which results in this mountain of ice all throughout the seascape. 
For this stamp design, the key was to create that certain mysterious mood of when looking at these mountains of ice. The primarily color for this stamp was blue in order to set that exact type of mood.
